By creating an account or using FinSight in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

FinSight provides AI-powered financial document analysis to help business owners understand their finances and identify potential savings and issues.

Important: Results produced by FinSight are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making major financial decisions. FinSight is a tool to help you ask the right questions — not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• You must not share your account access with other people or organisations.
• You must only upload documents that you have the legal right to share and process.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use FinSight for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the service.
• Upload documents containing personal data of third parties without their explicit consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Use the service in any way that could damage, overload, or impair our infrastructure.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly from the date of activation.
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then.
• We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if FinSight finds no actionable issues in your first analysis, contact us for a full refund.
• Prices are shown in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

6. Your Data and Documents

• You retain full ownership of all documents you upload to FinSight.
• By uploading documents, you grant FinSight a limited, non-exclusive licence to process those documents solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.
• We do not share your documents with third parties except as strictly required to deliver the service (e.g. the Anthropic Claude API for analysis).
• We do not use your documents to train AI models.

7. Limitation of Liability

FinSight is not liable for any financial decisions made based on analysis results. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a way that harms other users or FinSight.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
