What happens to your data — in plain English

  • Your documents are processed by AI and immediately deleted. We never keep your original files.
  • Your report findings are encrypted and accessible only to you. FinSight staff cannot read your reports.
  • We never sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models.
  • Any staff access to your account data is logged and auditable.

What happens when you upload a document

You upload your document

Your file is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. It never sits unprotected on any server.

AI analysis runs

Your document is sent securely to Anthropic's Claude API — the same AI trusted by Fortune 500 companies. The analysis runs in an isolated session.

Document deleted

As soon as the analysis completes your original document is deleted from our servers. We do not keep copies of your files.

Findings stored securely

Only the text findings — what FinSight identified in your documents — are stored in your account. These findings are encrypted and linked only to your account ID.

Who can access your financial report?

Your reports are accessible only when you are logged into your account.

FinSight staffNo

Staff accounts at FinSight cannot read your report content. Your financial findings are private to you. This is enforced technically — staff accounts are blocked from accessing report text regardless of their role.

FinSight adminOnly with logging

In exceptional circumstances such as resolving a technical support issue, a FinSight administrator may need to access a report. This can only happen with an explicitly stated reason which is permanently logged with a timestamp. You can request a copy of your audit log at any time by emailing [email protected].

AnthropicProcessing only

Your documents are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic processes them under their enterprise data privacy agreement. Anthropic does not use your data to train AI models. You can read Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com.

No one elseEver

We do not sell data, share data with advertisers, or provide data to any third party except as required by law.

Data security

  • All data encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3
  • All data encrypted at rest using AES-256
  • Passwords hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Database hosted on Supabase with row-level security
  • Staff access to client data is role-based and logged
